hello, i need some advice. i recently withdrew all my funds, a large amount from regular mf plans and want to invest in direct mf plans. i invest 100 percent in equity for long time, mostly in small and mid caps , with some also in flexi and large caps. i wanted to deploy all funds in same ratio in direct plan, but since the valuations of small and mid caps is very high right now, i thought to not invest in them. i would like to know this large lumpsum which i have in bank now, should invest in large index or momentum funds and gradually move to small and mid cap when their valuation is better or should i invest in debt funds and then transfer to small and mid caps. i am thinking of investing everything in large index or momentum now, since their valuation is okay and return are better than debt funds and tax is also less. kindly advice. thank you.

Since the market is at all-time high, park your money in Debt fund and do STPs in different funds.

Use SIP mode of investement. Dont do lumpsum. Whether flexi or index. Some correction may be expected in the 1st qtr of next fy, since annual results will come out and will be impacted by war and inflation.
