Dear TBS, that is exactly why I had used a caveat "if one takes the statement made by A.M at face value". And that is a big "if". Note that going by the last few years history of this counter where there has been a continuous shape shifting of media narratives and goal posts, especially when it comes to fundraising and future investments, I personally would not take any forward looking statement at face value... ie. and that means the price movement on ground in the next three to five years will be the sole yardstick to go by. And I have to always bear in mind that there is a significant chance that the value of my investments in this counter may even fall to zero in next five years, given the sheer complexity and turbidity.

Quite possible Chintuboka....but any price less than 30 is a bad restart..and result into bigger dilution.

dear tbs, the calculation works out to sixteen rupees per share. if one takes am statement at face value, then for fifty percent to become forty percent, the equity base needs to increase by twenty five percent (basic arithmetic). this means the additional twenty five percent is valued at twenty thousand crores. this inturn means that the total mcap of expanded base would be one lac crores, and current equity base would be proportionally be valued at eighty thousand crores. that is roughly seventeen percent higher than the current value of thirteen point sixty five. that is equal to sixteen rupees per share.

dear tbs brother......may be the (1)...promoters will infuse the twenty thousand crores....(2).... further they will acquire the GOI and ATC holdings.....(3)....if this happens then the promoters holding will be above seventy five percent.....(4)....and to reduce this excess holding to seventy five percent.... they have one year to do so....if...the above four points happen then the valuation will be at much a higher level....my assessment is on the gut feeling that after haranguing for two and half decades....Mr.KMB will not go in for such cheaper valuation....and even the GOI and ATC will like to have a valuation at price more than sixteen rupees..... lets see how it goes.... regards

This opens up many permutation and combination....if in the upcoming fundraising promoters wont participate and post money their holding comes down to 40 percent, then per share value is 18 rupee as per my calculation.....if they participate say close to 2k cr from all publicly available source then we need to see at what valuation the 2k cr will come.

Dear sharan, it wont come at 40 rupees....i think it will come far lower than that....all that he said 50 percent to 40 percent lower in holding mean approximately 20 percent dilution....and they are getting equity of 20k cr.
