can someone clarify how rights issue allotment is done? is it proportionate to your entitlement or quantity of extra shares applied? suppose my entitlement is 200 and i applied for 1000, then in what proportion allotment will be made? further, it is surprising to note that allotment will be finalised on 16th. when ipo is being completed within 3 days, is it not strange that rights allotment is not done in similar timeframe.

next week we can see levels of rs 44-46 in hcc strong momentum.
the rights issue is crazy process, this has to be simplified, looks lot of loopholes, under subscribe could be the one reason, one can even apply for more, price can be lower than offered etc..needs to be streamlined.

first full allotment of 200 shares secondly full amount to renouncee to the extent of re purchased thirdly full amount to 800 additional shares applied by you but in case of oversubscribed issue proportional allotment based on holding ....even now after full.allotment of your 800 additional shares something is left it will be to renouncee who applied additional shares but this is possible only if issue is under subscribed. live case of nse listed silgo retail where even renouncee got full additional shares allotment as the issue subscribed only 80% .
