Now, I know why asphaltenes are so dangerous to oil production from reservoir. They cause severe near-wellbore formation damage through impairment of permeability and changing wettabilities. The flowpaths in the reservoir are clogged and have clogged my heart too...personally a devastating experience. But, as the saying goes --when the going gets tough, the tough get going---thanks to my belief in my Gods who are supporting me in my perseverance.
