sr3536, sir, any idea on the negative cash receivable of the company and the built-up inventory of the company....... will we see it turning positive in this quarterly result. any idea since you been tracking for long years...
the inventory built up is attributable to a sudden increase in the sales of the company. it increased by around 1600cr in a year from 2000cr to 3600cr. so incrementally the gain in inventory by around 400cr is ok. it should be cleared in the coming days, not sure to what extent in this quarter. that depends on execution. the management has confirmed that they are trying their best to make up for lost time due to elections in q1. my overall understanding is they do not struggle to sell, they may strive to make more. railways are also a paymaster. it could merely be timing. we cannot see this as a paints company which makes and hopes to sell. these are made to order products. there is no reason to not buy.
