Greenhorn Bro, Ideally 1540 level is mouth watering level for Kotak. But given the current chart structure and volatiliy you need at least two weekly close above 1640. A weekly close below 1640 it may be confirmation of decending triangle breakdown. Height is 600pts to 1340 could be breakdown target. It is on weekly chart so the target may be achieved in few weeks. Vamsi Bro, Yes. Whatever I said about complex head and shoulders breakdown worked out on futures hourly chart sustaining below 22.32k for two hours we hit 22.040 where as 22k was target. Today I booked some profits at close from indices shorts. Now On daily if there is a close below 21920 then it will be a breakdown on adam adam double top with a height of thousand points. 65percent of height close to 650 below 21920 that takes you to 21270 is the target on futures. This may coincide with 21.2k on nifty spot where I think major support exists at this point. So I will add more shorts if I See futures closing below 21920 by our closing time. On the other hand if I see futures closing above 22.040 which is today low Or sustaining above 22.120 then I might book profits in few more shorts as there may be pull back towards 21.320 . Ideally one should trade and keep booking profits at regular intervals. Atleast take your investment back. Vix also seems to have given upward breakout on raising linear regression channel.
